I’ve always lived by the sea. Wherever I’ve lived, sea has always been there. For long I took the sea for granted and focused my attention elsewhere. But the sea was always there and always I found myself being by the sea.
I saw its changes and became concerned by what I saw: the algae blooms and depleted environments. I wanted to work to bring it back to its beauty. My sea is very peculiar. It is not big as the oceans, though it provides a gateway all over the world. My sea is not known for its great wonders; rather it is small and from a quick glance it also might look simple. To see its beauty you need to look a bit harder and zoom a bit closer. My sea won’t reveal its beauty easily. That is the Baltic Sea.
